Here you’ll find all important facts, frequently asked questions and useful information about your hotel at the Arlberg. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is possible from 3 p.m. Check-out is until 11 a.m.
Can I book a room with late check-out?
Late check-out can be booked on site subject to availability (at the earliest 1 day before departure) for an additional charge.
Is early check-in possible?
Early check-in is possible at short notice, subject to availability and consultation, for an additional charge.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, we will store your luggage safely if you arrive early or depart later.
When does the hotel open for the winter season?
We open every year at the beginning of December for the winter season.
Is the hotel open in summer?
Yes, we are also open in summer and offer activities such as hiking, golf and mountain biking.
The hotel is usually open from mid-June to the end of September.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
You can choose from the following restaurants: the hotel restaurant as part of half board (opening hours 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.) or the à la carte restaurants: ‘Das Theo’ (only open in winter, hot meals between 5.30 p.m. and 9 p.m.) and Gasthaus Lecher Stube (hot meals between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.).
Please note that Lecher Stube only accepts two seatings in winter, either 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or from 8 p.m. onwards.
If you would like to make a reservation at one of our restaurants, please let us know. Alternatively, we would be happy to reserve a table for you at the restaurant of your choice in Lech, Zürs, Oberlech or Zug.
When is breakfast / dinner served?
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and dinner starts at 6:00 PM.
Can I book half board or breakfast only?
Yes, you can choose whether you would prefer to book half board or breakfast only.
Is there a bar in the hotel?
Yes, there is a bar in the hotel. There is also a bar in our restaurant ‘Das Theo’ (only open in winter).
How do I get to the hotel?
You can drive to the hotel or take the train to Langen am Arlberg. We would be happy to organise a transfer for you for a fee.
Are there parking spaces or an underground garage?
Yes, we offer underground parking spaces for our guests.
Can I drive to the hotel by car?
Yes, the hotel is easily accessible by car. We offer underground parking spaces for our guests.
Are there electric charging stations for cars?
Yes, we offer charging stations for electric cars. The charging costs a one-time fee of €30.00.
Is there a shuttle service to/from the airport?
We recommend the transfer company “Der Lecher,” which can be conveniently booked online: https://www.taxi-lech.at/
Can I book directly on the hotel website?
Yes, you can book rooms directly through our website online
What are the cancellation policies?
Our cancellation policy is as follows
• Up to 3 months before the arrival date: free of charge
• 3 to 1 month before the arrival date: 40% cancellation fee of the total price
• 30 to 7 days before the arrival date: 70% cancellation fee of the total price
• From 6 days before the arrival date: 90% cancellation fee of the total price
In case of early departure, the total price according to the booking confirmation is due.
Please note that if you have to cancel your vacation more than 3 months before arrival, a processing fee of €80.00 will be charged.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
How can I change or cancel my booking?

Do you offer travel cancellation insurance?
Yes, directly after booking you can take out the travel cancellation insurance via the booking confirmation.
We always recommend that you take out travel insurance.
Hotel Cancellation Plus insurance not only offers you protection against costs in the event of cancellation or early departure, but also covers the costs of helicopter rescue, among other things, so that you can enjoy your holiday in the mountains with the best possible protection.

What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay your bill in cash, by debit card, Amex or credit card. You are also welcome to pay by bank transfer. Payment is possible until 10.30 p.m. on the evening before your departure. We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
Do I need a credit card to make a booking or pay a deposit?
A deposit of 30% of the total price is payable upon booking. You can pay the deposit by credit card or bank transfer.
Do I need to make a deposit?
A deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking.
Is there childcare or children’s programs?
We do not offer our own children’s program, but we can provide recommendations for local activities upon request.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.
Are there baby cots or extra beds?
Yes, baby cots and extra beds can be provided upon request.
Are there connecting rooms for families?
Yes, we have a few connecting rooms available on request.
What does the term ‘garden’ mean for the rooms? Does it mean they have direct access to the garden?
No, it means that your room is quietly located facing the garden and not the street side.
Can I reserve a specific room or floor?
Yes, we try to accommodate your preferences, but we cannot always guarantee them.
Are wellness treatments or massages available?
Yes, our hotel has a wellness area with an indoor pool, outdoor pool, block sauna and fitness room, as well as a relaxation area with a sauna, steam bath and massage and beauty treatments.
Our indoor pool is open from 7.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The outdoor pool is open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The block sauna is located in the textile area and may only be entered with swimwear. Parents are responsible for their children. The fitness room can be accessed via the courtyard. Children are not allowed in the fitness room.
Relaxation area: The sauna, bio sauna, herbal steam bath and infrared cabin are heated daily from 3 p.m. In case of bad weather, the relaxation area can also be used earlier. Please inform the reception desk. You can access these facilities with your room card. We kindly ask you to wear slippers in this area. Smoking is not permitted in the relaxation area. We kindly ask for your understanding that the relaxation area is a nude area and that children under the age of 14 are not permitted to enter.
Do you have a fitness room?
Yes, we have a small fitness room. Children are not allowed in there.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are allowed in selected rooms for an additional charge and only on request. Please indicate this when booking so that we can prepare everything for you and your four-legged friend.
For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in the dining room or spa areas. Guests are liable for any damage caused by their pets.
‘Clean Lech’ campaign: Please make sure you use the dog toilets in the village! You can obtain the appropriate bags along the signposted walking trails.
Is there a bus stop nearby?
Yes, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. From there, you can easily reach the ski lifts and the village.
Can I rent bicycles or e-bikes?
Yes, you can rent bicycles free of charge directly from the hotel. E-bikes are available subject to availability at a price of €40.00 per person per day.
Is there a golf course nearby?
Yes, the 9-hole golf course is located a 7-minute drive from us in Zug.
As a guest at Hotel Gotthard, you receive a discount on the green fee.

How far is the hotel from the ski lifts?
The hotel is centrally located in Lech, just a few minutes’ walk from the ski lifts.
What does Christmas Eve look like? Do you have a special program?
On Christmas Eve, we offer a small Christmas gathering with mulled wine, children’s punch, cookies, and more. Afterwards the Christmas gala dinner begins.
What does New Year’s Eve look like? Do you have a special program?
On New Year’s Eve, we offer a small celebration with mulled wine, children’s punch, cookies, and more. Afterwards the New Year’s Eve gala dinner begins.
Can I book ski lessons?

All ski schools offer convenient online booking.
Can I store my skis at the hotel?
Yes, we have a ski room with a ski boot dryer available for all guests.
Can I buy ski passes at the hotel?
Yes, we sell ski passes directly at the reception so you can save time.
Is there ski-in/ski-out access from the slopes to the hotel?
No, we are about a 3–5 minute walk from the lifts and the ski slope.
How far away is the ski rental?
There are several ski rental shops in Lech located close to the hotel. We are happy to assist you with your reservation.
