From bread to beer
Bread has a 90-year tradition with the Walch family and the Hotel Gotthard. In 2018, the bakery was relocated to a new production facility, freeing up space in the basement of the Hotel Gotthard that needed to be used.
So Clemens was looking for a new task. Something he could devote himself to with all his passion. It is indeed the similarity of beer and bread that brings him to brewing beer. All he had to do to brew a good beer was to exchange salt for hops.
Since 2018, a beer that is natural, pure and full of character – like our local mountain and namesake – the Omeshorn (2,557m), has been brewed by hand.
