From here you walk along the ridge to the summit.<\/p>\n<p>Surefootedness and a head for heights are recommended for this hike.<\/p>\n<p>The hike is not recommended in wet conditions, as it can be slippery and dangerous on the stone slabs, scree and meadow crest.<\/p>\n<p>In winter, the R\u00fcfikopf is an Eldorado for winter sports enthusiasts. You hike uphill to the viewpoint Tanegg, past the Grubenalpe until you reach the Kriegeralpe via a gravelled alpine path. After a short stretch uphill, past the stone wall &#8220;Chluppa&#8221; and the reservoir, the trail goes downhill via the Zugertobel to the valley station of the Steinm\u00e4hder lift. The path leads you back to the Zug toll station.
