„Fischwasser Österreich“ is a cooperation between various fishing hotels in Austria. Our goal is to take the very best care of our fishing guests from neighbouring countries. Whether you prefer rough mountain streams, gentle river courses, quiet mountain lakes or fishing ponds - you are at the right place at the Hotel Gotthard.

The Lech headwater with its two lakes - Spullersee and Formarinsee - is a jewel of the Alps. Limited permits for the Lech river prevent over fishing and add at touch of exclusivity. Be truly at one with nature and explore this 12km long fishing paradise - at first shallow and slow flowing, turning into a wild and torrential mountain stream. If you like we can organise an experienced fishing guide to lead you to the most remote and beautiful creeks.

After a successful day’s fishing you can relax in our new Spa area and look forward to dinner. We will be happy to prepare and cook your catch! Go over the highs and lows of the day with a glass of good wine and the obligatory boasts of other fishermen!
